Who We Are

Independent by Design. Loyal by Structure.

About the Firm

Rubellite Wealth is a boutique advisory practice dedicated to the complex planning needs of incorporated business owners, professionals, and families across Canada. Every relationship is deeply personal, long-term, and built around the specific legal and tax structure of each client's enterprise.

Our counsel is shaped by one consideration only: what your estate, your corporation, and your successors actually require to build and preserve wealth across generations.

  • We do not build template plans. Every structure is custom-architected to reflect the specific legal, corporate, and personal reality of your family.
  • We align with your existing professional network, collaborating directly with your corporate accountants and legal advisors to ensure total strategy integration.
  • We do not delegate a client file below principal level. From initial audit to multi-generational execution, your file stays directly with the founders.
The Rubellite Method

The Legacy Architecture™

Structure. Shelter. Settle. Every Rubellite engagement moves through three deliberate stages: Structure the corporation and holdings so wealth can be organized efficiently; Shelter the estate from unnecessary tax, probate friction, and creditor exposure; Settle the succession so control, value, and intent transfer on your terms.

See How the Framework Works
01

Corporate Estate Planning

The structures that built your wealth are not the structures that will keep it.

Growth rewards speed and appetite; preservation rewards design. Most owner-managed corporations outgrow the documents put in place years earlier.

  • Holding-company & estate-freeze structures
  • Corporate-owned insurance strategy
  • Tax deferral & capital-gains planning

The aim is to unlock: an estate that transfers intact — not one eroded by avoidable tax.

02

Business Succession

You built the enterprise with discipline. Its transition deserves no less.

The transfer of a company — to family, to partners, or to a buyer — is one decision of the same kind as the thousands that built it, made once.

  • Succession roadmaps & timelines
  • Shareholder & buy-sell agreements
  • Family-governance conversations

The aim is to unlock: control, value, and intent transferred on your terms.

03

Wealth Accumulation

Markets are appraised by the quarter. Families are not.

Retained earnings, registered accounts, and personal portfolios too often grow in silos — each efficient alone, expensive together.

  • Retained-earnings & holdco investing
  • Registered & corporate account coordination
  • A single tax-efficient accumulation strategy

The aim is to unlock: one accumulation strategy across business and family.

04

Real Estate & Debt Optimization

Real property is a legacy asset, not a line item.

Property is frequently the largest holding — and the greatest tax exposure — in an owner's estate. It belongs inside the plan, not beside it.

  • Corporate real-estate financing
  • Debt structuring & liquidity management
  • Tax-efficient equity extraction

The aim is to unlock: liquidity without forced sales, leverage without fragility.

Beyond the Conventional Advisor

Direct real-estate strategy

Real property is a legacy asset — often the largest holding, and the greatest tax exposure, in an owner's estate. With in-house mortgage brokerage expertise, 11+ years of specialized experience, and $2 Billion+ in funded real-estate capital, we integrate property strategy, debt structuring, and liquidity planning directly into your estate, corporate, and tax blueprint — both sides of the balance sheet, under one roof.

Warm low-angle architecture of a commercial property

Corporate Real Estate Structuring

Align property ownership and debt across holding companies to safeguard assets and lower corporate tax exposure.

Estate Liquidity & Capital Preservation

Plan debt structures to guarantee tax liabilities are funded upon transfer, avoiding the forced fire-sale of real estate assets.

Tax-Efficient Equity Extraction

Leverage property assets strategically to release liquidity for new ventures, succession planning, or investment opportunities without triggering unnecessary taxable events.

Self-Assessment

Is your estate plan exit-ready?

A generation of Canadian owners is approaching the same threshold. Over the coming decade, more privately held businesses will change hands than in any period before it — and for each family, the outcome will be decided by structures put in place years earlier, or by their absence. Eight questions. Two minutes. A candid read on where you stand.

Indicative only — this is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and no information is stored or sent.

Questions?

Frequently asked questions

What makes Rubellite different from other wealth advisors? +

We specialize exclusively in corporate estate and succession planning. Rather than general investment advice, we coordinate across tax, legal, and investment strategy for incorporated business owners. This specialized focus means deeper expertise in your specific situation.

Are you just another insurance broker? +

Not at all. We view insurance not as a standalone product, but as a strategic lever within a complete financial plan. As wealth advisors, our core focus is helping you structure, protect, and grow your overall wealth — integrating tax planning, corporate strategies, and estate design to ensure every strategy actively protects and advances your long-term goals.

What if I already have a financial plan or structure in place? +

That is no problem at all — in fact, we would be happy to audit your current setup at no cost to you. Wealth isn't stagnant; it is constantly growing and evolving, and your planning and corporate structure should adapt right alongside it. We can provide a second set of eyes to ensure you aren't leaving any opportunities on the table.

What happens to my business if I don't have a succession plan? +

The transfer will happen with or without one. Without documented direction, control and value are divided by default rules written for no one in particular — assessed, probated, and taxed before a single wish is honoured. A plan is the only voice you keep in the room. Our work is to make certain it speaks clearly, divides fairly, and costs the people in it as little as the law allows.

Is there a minimum to work with Rubellite? +

No published minimum. We qualify by complexity and fit rather than an asset figure: an incorporated business, significant real property, or an estate that spans generations usually signals that coordinated planning will repay its cost many times over. If we are not the right firm for your situation, we will say so in the first conversation — and point you toward someone who is.
